I had to have her.. the first day we arrived, my name written down the side, whispers in the wind.... "Elizabeth, Elizabeth" lol. An absolutely amazing view. There is a friendly route from the carpark to the Peak that heads over the ridge. We didnt regret the early drive at all! This piece was expressed us soft pastels, its a little one but still fairly evocative. Happy Trails!! Elizabeth

Ever took a wrong turn, and thought... this is no longer a hike!!! Lol.. story of my life. After a long time being very unwell I had been dreaming of the Peak District for years. This year, we did it!!!! There are some stunning views to be witnessed. My breath taken at every angle and not just because of the high winds in early march 2026. I was inspired to paint this which will be exhibited this year hopefully. ❤️ Elizabeth

This is my mostbrecent piece todate in watercolour. It represents the very contemplative and reflective walks ive taken along the coastal paths, especially Holkham and Wells next the sea in North Norfolk.

I had the greatest pleasure of hanging with SEAW (Society of East Anglian watercolourist) back in February, where I was chosen for the Tindalls Rose Bowl Award for "Dance of the Sea". Here Im studying Equine. On this study im practising my sketching technique as I will be practising behind the scenes for the next year , in different mediums. Working towards a very special competition at the Munnings Museum next year (2027)

Ive not been using Soft Pastels for a very long, so I'm very much a Newby to the Medium. I really love the vibrancy, depth in layers than be achieved from work dark to light as I did with this one. Elizabeth x

This month of February Ive been invited to Hang some of my work with SEAW, Society of East Anglia Watercolorists at their annual watercolour festival at Well next the sea, all details can be found on their website. Heres the poster. I will be there on the 14th at the meet the artist day in the gallery, and also on the 16th I will be helping steward the gallery, why not come along and say hello. X
